Tinubu presides over Federal Executive Council meeting

President Bola Tinubu is currently presiding over a meeting of the Federal Executive Council at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

Tuesday’s meeting is the second of its kind in 24 hours.

Minister of Information, Mohammed Idris, revealed on Monday that today’s meeting would address outstanding memoranda.

“Let me also mention that there will be another Federal Executive Council meeting tomorrow.

“Recall that since December, we haven’t had any meetings, so many memos have accumulated. The President is determined to clear them all.

“So, we expect that there will be another press briefing after the FEC meeting tomorrow,” Idris said.

In attendance are Vice President Kashim Shettima, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume, the President’s Chief of Staff, Mr. Femi Gbajabiamila, Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs. Didi Walson-Jack, along with several ministers and ministers of state.
