President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has hailed three Nigerian students who emerged champions at the 2025 TeenEagle Global Competition held in London, United Kingdom.
Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga in a statement on Wednesday in Abuja, said President Tinubu hailed the exceptional performance of Nafisa Abdullahi Aminu, Rukayya Muhammad Fema, and Hadiza Kashim Kalli in the prestigious international contest that tests communication and intellectual skills among teenagers from around the world.
Seventeen-year-old Nafisa Abdullahi Aminu was crowned the overall best in English language communication skills. Rukayya Muhammad Fema, aged 15, emerged as the overall best in debate, while Hadiza Kashim Kalli won the Outstanding Talent Award, taking home a gold medal.

“President Bola Tinubu congratulates Nafisa, Rukayya, and Hadiza on emerging world champions in English language communication skills and debate at the 2025 TeenEagle Global competition,” the statement read.
The president described their achievements as a beacon of hope for Nigeria’s future, saying the trio represents the excellence and promise that resides within the country’s youth population.
He also praised the schools and institutions responsible for nurturing the students’ talents, noting that such accomplishments are a reflection of the quality and potential of Nigeria’s education system.
“President Tinubu affirms that the nation’s future is much brighter with many of its youth as repositories of excellence,” Onanuga said.
Reiterating his commitment to education as a catalyst for national development, the president highlighted the Federal Government’s significant investments in the sector, particularly the establishment of the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), which aims to remove financial barriers for indigent students pursuing higher education.
President Tinubu encouraged the girls to remain dedicated to their academic pursuits and wished them continued success in their future endeavors.
