President Bola Tinubu launched the emblem for the 2024 Armed Forces Remembrance Day and announced the approval of N18 billion for life insurance and death benefits for the families of fallen soldiers.
He made this announcement during a ceremony held in the Council Chambers of the presidential villa in Abuja.
During his speech, President Tinubu expressed his determination to overcome the security challenges facing the country and pledged to reposition all security agencies to make them more efficient.
He also commended the security agencies for their successes in securing the nation.
President Tinubu emphasised that his government’s top priority is to create a safe and threat-free environment for all citizens to carry out their lawful activities.
