Award winning Nigerian actor, Timini Egbuson has been named number one on Top Charts Africa’s list of the 24 Most Impactful African Actors of 2024.

It was double honors as he was also listed among the publication’s top 100 most influential people of 2024.

According to Top Charts Africa, these African icons “have shattered boundaries, challenged norms, and left indelible marks across diverse industries.”

The list features the likes of Mo Abudu, Larry Madowo, Obi Asika, Jade Osiberu, Tara Durotoye, William Troost-Ekong, among others.

In the Most Impactful Actors category, the publication stated that “these actors have proven their ability to make an impact across Africa’s film landscape, shaping the future of African storytelling and solidifying their place as trailblazers in the industry.”

Known for his vibrant screen presence, Timini’s energetic performances have captivated audiences across the continent.

Starring and co-producing several hit projects such as Netflix Shina, and featuring in record breaking Cinema, and Youtube projects such as Ajosepo, Smart Money Woman, All’s Fair in Love, Couple’s Pact, Gen Z Wife, Last Straw, Hello Pot, Unexpected places, among others, the year 2024 further solidified his versatility as an actor and filmmaker.

“I’m deeply grateful and honored to be recognized among Africa’s most impactful and influential voices.

African stories deserve to be seen, heard, and felt worldwide and I’m honored to play my part in making this happen. It’s been a ride, and I’m just getting started, ” Egbuson said in excitement.

Beyond his acting success, Timini’s influence extends to the digital space where he advocates for better representation of African stories globally with the movies he stars in.

This earned him a spot on Top Charts Africa’s 100 Most Influential People of 2024, an accolade recognizing his efforts in reshaping the narrative of African cinema.

With awards like Actor of the Year at the EMY Africa Awards and a nomination at the 10th Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards, 2024 was certainly a defining year for Timini.

Looking ahead, 2025 promises to be another impactful year as he takes on new roles, explores different genres, and continues to push for better representation of African stories on the global stage.
