Members of the clergy of Kwara Diocese of The African Church, have celebrated their annual thanksgiving.
The event, which is the second edition of the annual clergy thanksgiving, was held on January 26, 2025, at Iyeru Okin parish in Offa, Kwara State.
Delivering the sermon, Ven. C.O. Ojo of the Ebenezer African Church in Erin-Ile, Kwara State, called for positive collaborations towards propagating the gospel.
According to him, for the church to move forward, there needs to be cooperation among the laity and the clergy.
In his remarks, the Bishop of Kwara Diocese of The African Church, Right Revd Dr T. Ade Fagbayi, thanked the clerics and their wives for their service and commitment.
Bishop Fagbayi also urged the ministers to be steadfast in their endeavours to preach the gospel, just as he encouraged clerics and the laity to ensure that Christ remains the standard for daily living.
According to him, Christ-like living should be manifested through words and actions as expected of the Christian faithful.
The event featured clerics and their wives, as well as congregants from various parishes within the Kwara Diocese of The African Church.
