Master Bulus who was said to have joined his peers to the stream to bathe, where he met his untimely dead inside the water.
According to sources, before he could be rescued from the stream by some local rescuers, he was already dead and nothing they could do.
James Edeh, a family friend to the deceased person said, “as I was going to my place of work on Saturday morning, though before then, the father of the deceased boy asked me to look after his children, so I did and after my return from work, I checked on them and they were doing well.
“Unfortunately, on that fateful day, at about 2 pm, one of the female children ran down to my house and told me that her brother, Bulus fell in the stream.
“Before reaching the stream with her, it was not confirmed that he was dead. So we took him to a nearby clinic at Shaibu where the Doctor officially confirmed that he is dead.
“Though, we have not reported the case to the police because it was not a criminal case. I feel very sad about losing this boy. I have not been myself since that very day.”
Speaking with TribuneOnline, the deceased father master Samuel Sule expressed his grieved for missing such unique and obedient child, adding that though he felt sad, still thank God for what happened.
“Bulus Bright is my third son of my children, he is 12 years old and his birth came as a miracle to us because the mother gave birth to him without being assisted by a nurse.
“He is unique, obedient, and hardworking. I felt sad to have lost the whole of my hope.
“His death happened when both of us were away, my wife went to Jos and I also went to the village. Though, I warned them not to go anywhere.
“While I was in the village, they called me around 4: pm that something happened and I rushed back to the house and was told he died.
“The church Secretary told me that he followed his peer to the stream without their knowledge, where he removed his cloth to swim and could not come out” he explained.
Mr Samuel further appreciated members of ERCC church for standing for the family even while they were away, praying to God in regards to their effort.
