The Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU), Taraba State University, has condoled Governor Agbu Kefas over the demise of his younger sister, Atsi Kefas.
In a press statement issued and made available to journalists on Wednesday, signed by the union’s chairperson, Comrade Bitrus Joseph Ajibauka, the union called on Governor Kefas to take solace in God, as He is the giver and taker of life.
The union, while commiserating with the entire Kefas family, described the late Atsi as a God-fearing woman who had a passion for humanity and was dedicated to capacity building among indigents in Taraba.
“While we condole with you and the entire Kefas family over the untimely demise of your younger sister Atsi, may we reflect on the scripture that God is the giver and taker of life. We pray that you take solace in the fact that death is inevitable and man must return to his creator, God, in heaven.
“Atsi Kefas was a God-fearing woman who had a passion for humanity. A lover of the people who will forever be remembered for her magnanimity towards the less privileged. Her capacity-building legacies for the poor will forever be a memory of thought, as long as man exists,” the union mourned.
