Taraba bye-election: I’ll prioritise security if elected — APC Rep candidate

Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), for Jalingo, Yorro and Zing federal constituency, for house of Representative by-election, Dr Aminu Malle on Sunday said, he would prioritise the security of his constituents and ensure their well-being if elected.

Dr Malle made the promised while addressing party loyalist in Jalingo.

The APC candidate decried the recent spate of general insecurity within the constituency, noted that the development has degraded the economic value of the constituency on the global map, and promised to restore the lost glories.

“The recent spate of insecurity, ranging from kidnapping and killings within Jalingo Yorro and Zing federal constituency is worrisome. The development if you check on the economic global map, has degraded the constituency among the least economic value.

“If elected, I will prioritise the security of the constituents, introduce ideas that will improve the well-being of the people and restore the constituency’s lost glories.

“I will ensure a United APC that would wrestle power from PDP and attract development for Taraba state. I wish to appeal to all party men who contested with me to consider the project as a one family affair.

“My desire is to transform Jalingo Yorro and Zing federal constituency, ensure that the constituent’s well-being is improved and help build a solid APC that would take over power from PDP come 2027”. Dr. Malle promised.

Earlier, Barr. Ibrahim El-Sudi, the state APC chairman described Dr Malle as the best candidate among all candidates contesting for the election, considering his records as a two times former national Assembly member.

“I want to appeal to the people of Jalingo Yorro and Zing federal constituency to vote for Malle, the APC candidate to transform the constituency. He is the best candidate among all candidates contesting for election, considering his past record,” the state APC chairman campaigned.
