Tambuwal describes Buhari’s administration as incompetent 

A presidential aspirant of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and also a sitting governor of Sokoto state, Alhaji Aminu Tambuwal, has described president Mohammadu Buhari’s style of leadership as grossly incompetent and lack respect for the rule of law.

The Governor stated these during his campaign tour in Abakaliki.

Tambuwal who was recieved at the Presidential Lodge By Ebonyi state Deputy Governor, Dr. Kelechi Igwe, speaker Ebonyi state house of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ogbonna Nwifuru, the PDP zonal chairman, Deacon Austin Umahi, and other dignitaries from the state, said  Nigeria presently needs a leader that will not look down on his subjects irrespective of religion and  tribe. He called on well meaning Nigerians to support his presidential ambition, promising to use his leadership capacity to reunite Nigeria thereby saving the country from the hands of the present administration.

“The leadership that is in power in Nigeria is grossly incompetent. As a result, we should provide a leadership that has a proper understanding about the need to restructure Nigeria and a clear appreciation of our Democratic value and Democratic institution, a leadership that has respect for the rule of law. As I said, the economy is bad and it is caused by this administration and it seems we are into another recession.

Obviously, there is a need for us to have a completely different leadership at the centre come February 2019. A number of us in PDP have indicated interest to be the Presidential flag bearer of the People Democratic Party, (PDP).

“Ebonyi state is the first state we are visiting. This is because Governor David Umahi is the chairman of the south-east governors’ forum.

“All we require is a leadership that has a listening ear and has the capacity to bring together all Nigerians irrespective of religion, tribe and we must put to an end this situation.

“The unity of Nigeria as of today has never been this bad. We need a leadership that has the capacity to hold the county together and that is why I insist that we must rescue Nigeria from the hand of a click”, he stated.

According to Governor David Umahi represented by his deputy, “Alhaji Aminu Tambuwal’s democratic credentials are not questionable stressing that his leadership style at the National Assembly shows that his respect for political ethos are not in doubt.

” Your respect for political ethos is not in doubt, your record in the National Assembly and in sokoto state as the sitting Governor are very clear and there are testimonies that all can see are added value to you.

“he believes that if there is one man that is ably qualified to aspire to this office, that you should be counted as one of the five contenders for this particular presidential office”.
