A solidarity movement supporting the aspiration of Senator Abdul Ahmed Ningi for the Bauchi State governorship race, tagged “Senator Abdul Ahmed Ningi Vanguard 2027” (SAAN 27), has been officially launched in Bauchi.
Addressing a press conference on Tuesday at the Conference Hall of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Secretariat, Bauchi, Comrade Sani Adamu, Chairman of SAAN 27, stated, “The movement was birthed after careful examination and deep consultations with relevant stakeholders, thousands of youths across the 20 Local Government Areas of Bauchi State, communities, and some volunteer non-governmental organisations in Bauchi State.”
He emphasised, “We have unequivocally declared our interest in supporting Senator Abdul Ahmed Ningi as the next governor of Bauchi State in the upcoming 2027 General Election.”
According to him, “We can boldly say, with all sense of modesty, that we have recorded outstanding success in the leadership of Senator Abdul Ahmed Ningi, particularly concerning youth and nation-building.”
“Senator Abdul Ahmed Ningi’s academic and leadership intelligence successes are not just a credit to him alone but to the entire Nigerian youth, students, and society, irrespective of religion, ethnicity, or any status. In the words of the famous scholar Martin Luther King Jr., ‘The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy,'” he added.
He further stated, “Senator Abdul Ahmed Ningi is a great leader with passion. Today, we converge to hold this mega world press conference and endorse Senator Abdul Ahmed Ningi for Bauchi State Governor in the 2027 General Election.”
According to him, “However, Senator Abdul Ahmed Ningi Vanguard 2027 (SAAN 27) vows to extend its solidarity within our capacity to mobilise, campaign, and canvass votes towards the victory of Senator Abdul Ahmed Ningi as Bauchi State Governor in 2027.”
Sani Adamu added, “We firmly express confidence in him as a courageous, zealous, charismatic, simple, intelligent, and intellectual leader with zero tolerance for indiscipline. He fights corruption in all its ramifications, and that is what makes him a leader worthy of emulation.”
He stressed, “Senator Abdul Ahmed Ningi has given the youth an opportunity to grow—the freedom to accomplish, achieve, and excel—backed by trust and confidence. He should never forget that helping people to win is one of his greatest legacies and a virtue of great leadership.”
