Presidential elections in Nigeria 2019 are very soon, and candidates start to make promises to Nigerians. The current president of Nigeria Muhammadu Buhari is one of the candidates who has a leading position. What are the promises of President Buhari if he would be re-elected for the new term?
On Sunday, the 20th of January, at the event titled “Testimonies of Change” and organized by the Ministry of Information and Culture, President Buhariwas represented by Udo Udoma, the minister of budget and national planning,said that citizens of Nigeria are to look forward great prosperity of the country and impactful leadership on the return of Buharia’s the president of Nigeria in 2019.
Muhammadu Buhari claims that the government under his leadership would do everything possible to achieve significant improvement in many social spheres including education, security, corruption, economic transformation,infrastructure development, etc. One of the main promises is that Nigerians would live in Nigeria of their dreams upon reelection of Muhammadu Buhari.
Also, President Muhammadu Buhari congratulated Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the minister of information and culture, with the superior innovative ways the minister was showcasing theachievements of the government.
Earlier the minister gave his comments the achievements of the administration of the current president of Nigeria saying that they are real and added that the government under the leadership of Buhari had a positive impact on millions of citizens in Nigeria.Alhaji Lai Mohammed added that Buhari government just in three and a half years having limited resources has achieved a lot if to compare with the administrations that were at the helm since 1999.
Among other testifiers who shared their opinions and experiences at the event were beneficiaries of the N-Power, Anchor Borrower Programme, school feeding programme, Trader Moni, and the former workers of the closed down NITEL, Nigeria Airways, and MTEL who have received their pensions after decades of waiting. Also, at the event were present the traditional rulers from the communities where the government under the leadership of Buhari has constructed roads.
As it was reported earlier by LEGIT, MoshoodOshun,the chairman of the committee on public finance of the Lagos state House of Assembly,at the campaign flag-off of his colleague, Sanai Agunbiadeinsured that the reelection of the President Buhari at the presidential elections in Nigeria 2019 will return Nigeria its days of glory. He added that Nigerians should use the forthcoming elections as a means to appreciate Muhammadu Buhari for the efforts the current president made in the years of his administration.
