Sokoto PDP mourns ex-party chairman, Ibrahim Milgoma

Sokoto State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has described the death of his immediate past chairman, Ibrahim Milgoma, as colossal loss not only to the party in the state but also at national level.

The party in a press statement signed and made available to newsmen by the spokesman of the party in the state, Hassan Sahabi Sanyinnawal, said the party learnt with deep grief, the death of  its former chairman Alhaji Ibrahim Milgoma who died in Abuja following a protracted illness .

The late chairman died in Abuja hospital where he was said to be receiving medical care on his ailment on Tuesday night.

“The late Ibrahim Milgona   was a  distinguished gentleman and respected leader, who contributed immensely to the development of Sokoto state, and Nigeria, in general.

“Sokoto PDP has indeed lost a father and a respected leader, who piloted the affairs of the party with the dedication and commitment that ensured the victory of our great Party in the general election of 2019.

“The PDP Sokoto State chapter, prays Almighty Allah to forgive his shortcomings and reward his good deeds with Aljannat Firdaus and to give his household and the entire state the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss”.
