The donation was announced by Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal on Monday while sympathising with the victims and the entire people of the area at the palace of District head of Gada.
Tambuwal said out of the amount, 5 million naira is for the traders and 3 million to those whose houses were affected in the inferno.

The Governor also announced that the government would rehabilitate the burnt mosque in the town. He therefore prayed Allah to prevent the recurrence of the unfortunate incident.
The District head of Gada, Alhaji Kabiru Kyari Abdurrahman, who spoke on behalf of the victims thanked the Governor for visit and prayed Allah to reward him abundantly.
Governor Tambuwal later inspected the structures affected by the fire outbreak as well as some on going projects in the community.
