Nigerian rapper, Oladipupo Olabode Oladimeji, sensationally known as Oladips, has passed on! This was revealed by his management, via his verified Instagram page, @oladipsoflife. The cause of his death remains unknown.

Here are six quick facts about the late rapper, Oladips

1. He was born March 24, 1995, in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria.

2. He started off as a text battler and became a household name among rap battlers on Facebook. One of his major battles was against Don Geo which he won.

3. He was once signed to Reminisce EDGE/LRR Records and he terminated his contract due to a feud between him and his boss, Reminisce.

4. He is widely known for his viral song, ‘Lalakukulala’

5. Before his death, he was supposed to release a 17-track album, titled Superhero Adugbo. He delayed the release of the album in solidarity with Mohbad, who also passed on about 2 months ago.

6. His management claims he has kept his battles to himself for 2 years.
