Nigerian singer, Simisola Bolatito Kosoko, popularly known as Simi, has called for sanctions against airport staff who recorded and circulated a video showing ‘unruly’ Ibom Air passenger, Comfort Emmanson’s indecent exposure, during the Lagos Airport row.
Reacting via her Instagram story, the award-winning artiste questioned why Emmanson was being punished for her behaviour while those who filmed and posted the footage without concealing her private parts were not facing any consequences.
“Someone recorded her being dragged off the plane, recorded her being exposed like that, and then posted it without editing or blurring it out. I personally want to know who posted that video and why no one is holding him or her accountable. Because they will face the law,” Simi wrote.

She stressed that sharing the clip unedited was a violation of privacy and equally deserving of legal action.
“But voluntarily posting her half-naked for millions of people to see, when less than 10 people actually witnessed it in the first place, deserves punishment too because you cannot condemn one madness and leave another one,” she added.
Tribune Online reports that Comfort Emmanson, a passenger on Ibom Air Flight Q153, was involved in a heated confrontation with the flight crew and ground staff after refusing to switch off her phone during takeoff.
The incident escalated, leading to her removal from the aircraft, with the unedited video of sensitive body parts quickly going viral on social media.
Tribune Online reports that Emmanson was arraigned in Court on Monday and remanded in Kirikiri prison for her conduct during the row at the Lagos airport.
