A former Kano State governor, Malam Ibrahim Shekarau, now senator representing Kano Central at the Red chamber of the National Assembly on Monday lost his five-month-old daughter in Dubai.
A statement signed and issued by Shekaru’s Special Adviser, Dr Sule Yau Sule, made available to Nigerian Tribune on Monday in Kano said the baby who was hospitalised in Dubai has been buried in the Arab country.
Dr Sule’s statement reads: “On a sad note, we wish to announce the death of the youngest daughter of His Excellency, Senator Ibrahim Shekarau, a five-month-old baby who died today. She was already buried in Dubai where she was hospitalised.”
