One merit I perceive will come from replacing the current service chiefs is that it would help to inspire fresh hope, confidence, trust and expectations against the current deep-seated suspicion and despair.
However, I am one of the people that do not see that as the fundamental problem because of people like former Inspector General of Police, Idris Kpotun, who got substituted based on the belief that insecurity was at its worse at that time only to discover now the glaring insecurity with no respite or hope of improvement.
There is no town presently without the overwhelming burden of young boys into drug abuse and addiction. One thing about drug influenced crimes is the absence of sense, fear or rational behaviour. Greed and desperation is another fundamental flaw that makes insecurity prevail.
