Senator Marafa betrayed us – Zamfara APC

The All Progressive Congress (APC) in Zamfara state has described Senator Kabiru Garba Marafa who recently took decision and dumped APC as betrayal to the party.

Marafa’s supporters have reaffirmed their support to progressive APC, saying Senator Marafa’s betrayal is on his own.

Thousands supporters of Senator Kabiru Garba Marafa on Monday in Gusau reaffirmed their commitment, support and loyalty to Zamfara State APC, saying Marafa’s left APC alone.

“This is to reaffirm our support and loyalty to Zamfara State APC, we remain and  committed to progress of APC, Mafara left alone,we are not part of him, we remain in our great and progressive party (APC),” they stated.

According to Senator Marafa’s APC administrative secretary, Abdulkadir Mijinyawa, Youths leader, Lawali Gadar Baga, women leader,Maijidda Abdulkadir Lamido,chairman elders, Wada Maitaya Kaura,and all the 14 local government Marafa APC leaders have maintained that Marafa has lost focus for leaving the progressive APC.

Mijinyawa disclosed that in each of the fourteen local government areas of Zamfara State, 20 representatives of Senator Marafa in APC had gathered to express their dismay over Marafa’s sole decision to leave the party.

“We are not betrayals,we want progress of our party, Mafara alone decided to leave APC,we are not with him, we still remain in our promising party(APC).” He maintained.

In his remarks,the Zamfara State APC chairman, Alhaji Tukur Umar Danfulani, who was represented by party secretary Ibrahim Umar Dangaladima Birnin Magaji, lauded the foresight of the supporters of Senator Kabiru Garba Marafa for reaffirming their loyalty to APC.

He stressed that Senator Kabiru Garba Marafa has betrayed the APC after all what has been done to him by the party.

He assured the supporters of Senator Marafa that they would be carried along in all the party activities in the state, called on supporters to shun betrayal of the party, remain focused and loyal to party leaders, former Governors, Senator Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar and Minister of State for Defense, Hon. Bello Mohammed Mattawalle in the state.
