Former Governor of Plateau State, Senator Joshua Chibi Dariye, has described the appointment of Mr David Sunday Daser as the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the revered Digital Bridge Institute (DBI) as putting a round peg in a round hole considering his technology savvy.
Senator Dariye, in a statement, commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the appointment, adding that the appointment was in the right direction considering the significant impact of the appointee on technology, not only for the nation but for the world at large.
“David Daser has contributed hugely to technology and governance as the founder of nHub, a technology training ground, as well as the former Director General of Plateau Information & Communication Development Agency (PICTDA), where he made tremendous contributions, putting Plateau State on the world map in terms of technology penetration and appreciation by the people. He is innovative and a great force to be reckoned with in the world of technology.”
The former Governor further appreciated the President for finding a Plateau son worthy of the appointment and charged the appointee to remain a good ambassador of the state by justifying the confidence placed in him with his sterling performance.
He charged him to make the mentorship of other youths his priority, work towards taking the institute to an enviable height, and also add value to humanity and society.
