NO fewer than twenty politicàl parties in Anambra State under the umbrella of Iner-Party Advisory Council IPAC, on Monday, adopted Dr. Ifeanyi Uba of the Young Progressive Party YPP, for the Anambra South senatorial seat àt the forthcoming 2019 general election to represent his people at the National Assembly Abuja.
The parties after signing memorandum of understanding with the candidate, stated that they adopted him after, due consideration interms of capacity, purposefulness, found out that Uba is more capable and people oriented person for the post.
Our correspondent gathered that the concern parties agreed that the Capital Oil&Gas Managing Director, has shown that he has the interest of his people at heart and voting him will double his good will for his people who he had shown much love.
At a press conference in Akwa, the Anambra state capital yesterday , the chairman of inter-party council (IPAC) of the state, Hon. Issac Onuka, said the twenty political parties decided to adopt Ifeanyi Uba as a consecious candidate after considering many factors such as capacity, competency and love for the people.

He said Dr. Uba is most capable and competent candidate for the senatorial seat because of his track record as well as youths empowerment initiatives.
” Ifeanyi Uba has touched many lives in all facets and deserved to represent Anambra South at the Senate for purposeful representation.These parties adopted him and will work and canvases for votes for him door to door so that comes February 16, 2019, he will emerge victorious”he said.
According to him the decision to adopt Dr.Uba as a candidate by the political paties was taken in good faith for the interest of the people of Anambra state.
The parties are People Democratic Congress progressive party, Accord party ,Kowa Party,Mass Movement of Nigeria , Freedom and Justice Party, among others, he mentioned.
