Seinde Signature CEO flags off 480 perfume bottles give away

To celebrate his 62nd birthday, Mr Olufemi Olaseinde Olusola, the owner of the only perfumes museum in Nigeria, has decided to flag off a 365-day giveaway of over N100,000,000 worth of niche perfumes.

Tagged #Seinde365, he said aside from giving away 480 bottles of perfumes, this was also probably the greatest opportunity explored by any yet to bring unprecedented awareness towards artistic perfumes, which is what the Seinde Signature Salon de Parfum brand is all about.

Speaking to the Nigerian Tribune yesterday, he said, “It’s all about sharing at least one bottle of perfume a day for the next 365 days in celebration of my 62nd birthday. It will start on May 8 and continue till May 7, 2025!

“The primary idea is to bring awareness to (artistic) artisanal perfumes (which are like the creme of the crop), also known as the niche range. Everyone has a peculiar sense of smell primarily used for defence. We smell something burning or bad odour before identifying a nice smell. So, training one’s nose is a task.

“Nigerians love to smell good and the international market has recognised this. They have been pressuring us to retail many of their brands but we have been meticulous with choosing which niche brands to sell in Nigeria. Personally, I am working on building our own perfume factory in Nigeria and making our own range of perfumes; from bottles to fragrance and it will be a reality soon”.

His namesake brand was established about three years ago to cater to people who wanted something above the normal designer fragrances that had flooded the market and didn’t have any distinction.

The Seinde Signature brand is the only Nigerian brand stocking more than 45 strictly niche fragrances from across the globe.
