Pastor (Mrs.) Folashade Olukoya, wife of the General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), has called on youths in Nigeria and the diaspora to embrace God and align with His purpose for their lives as the key to achieving true greatness.

Speaking at SOAR 2024, a global youth conference organised by the MFM Youth Directorate at Prayer City, Pastor Folashade emphasized that lasting greatness comes only through God’s power and not through worldly or deceptive means.

She noted that many youths today are losing focus due to a lack of divine wisdom, power, and direction, adding that, “Youths must stop comparing themselves to others who achieve transient success through the wrong means. Only God can provide wealth and greatness without sorrow.”

Pastor Folashade warned against mingling with the wrong crowd, whom she described as offering “poison” that leads to destruction.

She encouraged youths to stand boldly against sinful acts and trust God to overcome barriers to success.

Speaking on the topic “Overpowering Barriers to Your Soaring,” she urged young people to accept Jesus Christ, develop a life of prayer, and immerse themselves in the Bible.

“Youths and young adults are not forsaken by God,” she said.

“Acknowledge Him, build a lasting relationship with Him, and renew your mind daily with the Word of God. There is no crooked path to divine greatness—it comes only through God.”

Pastor Folashade highlighted that MFM prioritises the positive transformation of youth lives, ensuring they fulfill God’s purpose.

She stressed the importance of aligning with God’s agenda, stating that a life centered on prayer and godly principles leads to enduring success.

Earlier at the event, Dr Daniel Kolawole Olukoya, the General Overseer of MFM Worldwide, reiterated the ministry’s commitment to capturing the hearts of youths for God.

He disclosed that MFM has a comprehensive 77-point youth agenda aimed at winning young people to Christ and safeguarding their destinies. The key initiatives include: Deliverance prayer programmes, Establishing youth churches worldwide, Education outreaches and scholarships for indigent students
Cash rewards for first-class graduates, Food evangelism and rehabilitation for drug abuse victims.

Olukoya noted that the MFM Campus Fellowship arm consistently produces the highest number of first-class graduates in tertiary institutions globally.

“Through these initiatives, countless youths have given their lives to Christ. Those formerly lost to clubs and destructive lifestyles are now established in the church. Even former prostitutes have become preachers of the gospel,” he said.

Professor Olukoya emphasised that the Youth Church arm of MFM was created to rescue young people from destructive influences and to destroy the devil’s agenda against this generation.

“A platform was needed to bring young people together for Christ, provide biblical teachings, and secure their destinies,” he explained.

The SOAR 2024 conference showcased MFM’s commitment to nurturing a godly generation of young leaders, reaffirming its vision of helping youths fulfill divine purpose and overcome life’s challenges through faith.

In addition, the Senior Regional Overseer (SRO) in charge of Youth Directorate Pastor Samuel Olurinde said God is using MFM Youth Churches and Campus fellowships all over the world to capture souls for Christ and help discover as well as fulfill their God-given destinies and purposes.
