Fast-rising musician, David Seun Bankole, popularly known as S B Live, has won the City People’s Most Stylish Showbiz Personality award of the year.
The event, which was graced by top celebrities and stakeholders in the industry, came alive when Bankole was announced as the winner of the award category at the Coliseum Event Centre, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, last Sunday.
S B Live, who recently released his new EP, entitled: ‘Orire’ revealed that he was very overwhelmed with the award.
“I’m very delighted with this honour and recognition. It is a sign of progress for me. It has been very rough to reach this level in my scintillating musical career. I fought hard as well with empty stomach before my parents could give me the opportunity to do music. I’m still aspiring more. I will keep working hard. I will not disappoint my family and fans who have been there for me. This is the beginning. I thank City People management for the award,” SB said while receiving the award.
Following the development, the artiste has revealed plans to embark on a US musical tour. According to him, the tour will cover about six cities, including Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Indianapolis, Philadelphia, Maryland, and Atlanta Georgia.
On his return, R gathered that SB Live would stage a concert in October for his fans in the heart of Lagos.
