The National Chairman of African Democratic Congress (ADC), Chief Ralph Nwosu, has urged the people of Ogun State to kick against any form of succession plan being planned by the incumbent administration.
He said this on Thursday during the party’s mega rally held in Abeokuta, the state capital, that all attempt to manipulate the electoral process would be thwarted.
Nwosu said the party’s governorship candidate, Prince Gboyega Nasir Isiaka, would succeed Senator Ibikunle Amosun by building a new Ogun State, through the people’s mandate.
The ADC National Chairman said any institutional authority who planned to disrupt the election would be dealt with in accordance with the laws of the land.
Nwosu said, “It is time to say pack and go for this current government. A new tenant has arrived as approved by the people. With our votes, we will say pack and go.
“Somebody he has been a senator for four years and he has been governor for eight years and he still wants to install another person; does Ogun State belong to him?
“Our own party is for love and inclusion. We play politics of inclusion, love and brotherhood. You all know GNI (Isiaka); he is a gentleman. His heart is pure and he will give Ogun State the best development. ADC is the new spirit of Nigeria and it will help to bring new Nigeria.
“Nobody can stop our victory. Any INEC man that tries to stop it will go to jail. Any policeman that tries to stop it will go to jail. Any institutional authority that may want to disrupt the election will be dealt with.”
He described Isiaka as the most credible candidate that would take Ogun to a greater level and later handed the party’s flag to Isiaka and his deputy governorship candidate, Mrs Bisi Okeowo-Bolade.
Nwosu said that 85 per cent of people of the state, according to an independent poll, wanted the ADC candidate to succeed Amosun.
Nwosu said, “It is time to say pack and go for this current government. A new tenant has arrived as approved by the people. With our votes, we will say pack and go.

Isiaka in his remarks promised to tap on the potentials and opportunities abound in the state for development.
He sternly warned against any attempt to rig the gubernatorial election and urged the people to take advantage of today (Friday), to pick up their Permanent Voter Cards from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
“We are aware of their plans to manipulate and rig. We shall not allow this. Everything will be put in place to prevent rigging. We enjoin INEC to play the role of an independent arbiter. Should anybody wants to do anything otherwise, they will meet us force for force,” Isiaka noted
