The Oyo State High Court sitting in Ibadan has adjourned the land dispute case between Satguru Maharaj Ji and Taofeek Olagoke until 6 May 2025 for further hearing.

During the court sitting, the claimant, Taofeek Olagoke, argued that his late father, Olagoke, owned the land currently occupied by Satguru Maharaj Ji along the Ibadan-Lagos Expressway and appealed to the court to return the land to him.

Meanwhile, the defendant, Satguru Maharaj Ji, through his lawyer, Barrister Ojo Gbenga, presented documents to the court, which he claimed genuinely proved his ownership of the land, having been sold to him by the late Mogaji Alaadorin, Kolapo Ishola. He also presented two court judgments validating Satguru Maharaj Ji as the bona fide owner of the land.

After hearing from the lawyers representing both parties as well as the witnesses, the presiding judge, Justice Adebuloka Olatunde, adjourned the case till 6 May 2025.
