Lagos Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu; the Speaker, Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, and top officials of the state government are amongst eminent dignitaries expected at the 2025 Lagos State Council of Tradesmen and Artisans (LASCOTA).
LASCOTA is the umbrella body coordinating the activities of over 70 registered tradesmen and artisans associations in Lagos State, with membership spread across the 20 Local Government Areas (LGAs) and 37 Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) of the state.
President of the association, Engr. Lawrence Ajayi made this known in a statement made available to newsmen, saying that the LASCOTA Day 2025, holding on July 24, 2025, in Agidingbi in Ikeja, Lagos, with Governor Sanwo-Olu as the Chief Host, presents an opportunity to highlight the huge roles tradesmen and artisans played in driving nation-building.

It would be recalled that the top leadership of LASCOTA, including the President, Engr.
