Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu; Nollywood actors, traditional rulers and distinguished guests from Lagos, across Nigeria and from other countries are expected to grace the third edition of Isheri Ikosi Ketu Magodo Cultural Carnival slated for Saturday, October 26th – Sunday, October 27th, 2024.
The Mayoress of Ikosi Isheri LCDA, Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada, while briefing journalists in Lagos said that “the aim of organising the cultural carnival was to showcase our community’s rich culture which unites us through our shared identity that will bring us together to celebrate the beauty and diversity of our culture”
She added that “the two days cultural carnival with the theme “Our Heritage, Our Pride a Celebration of Culture and Unity” will be an extraordinary celebration that will be filled with dance, music and art that will help to boost local economy and promote tourism in Lagos.”
The two days event will witness special performances from notable music bands, cultural troupes and musical artistes such as Haruna Ishola band, Malaika and his band, Ayo Maff, Candy Bleake, Qdot, Sangbeto; upcoming artistes, the kegite club and cultural troupes from Lagos State, Igbo troupe and Ijebu cultural troupe and others.
