The fourth edition of Insurance Meets Tech (IMT 4.0) has secured the backing of major players in Nigeria’s insurance sector, reinforcing its growing status as the leading platform for driving conversations at the intersection of insurance, technology, and culture.
Leadway Assurance, Enterprise Life, Cube Cover, and emPLE have signed on as Gold Sponsors, while SanlamAllianz is serving as the Official Insurer of the event.
Cornerstone Insurance has taken the role of Innovation Partner, with Lasaco Assurance backing the conference as a Bronze Sponsor.
In addition, two leading professional bodies — the Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (NCRIB) and the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN) — have been confirmed as Institutional Partners, further strengthening the event’s industry-wide endorsement.
Speaking on the significance of this support, Odion Aleobua, Convener of IMT Conferences, said the calibre of sponsors reflects the industry’s united commitment to innovation, digital adoption, and customer-centric growth.
“The calibre of sponsors and partners for IMT 4.0 reflects the industry’s collective commitment to shaping a future where innovation, digital adoption, and lifestyle relevance are at the heart of insurance. With this level of backing, IMT 4.0 is set to deliver its boldest impact yet,” Aleobua said.
This year’s edition, themed “Innovating for the New Trybe,” will spotlight opportunities for technology-driven insurance models designed to resonate with today’s younger, tech-savvy generations, particularly Millennials and Gen Z.
One of the major highlights will be the Executive Dialogue, to be led by the Commissioner for Insurance, Mr. Olusegun Ayo Omosehin, under the theme “NIIRA: A New Era Beckons.”
The session will examine the newly released NAICOM Insurtech Guidelines and their implications for the future of Nigeria’s insurance sector under the Nigerian Insurance Industry Reform Act (NIIRA) 2025.
In addition to the executive sessions, IMT Redefined will creatively blend culture, lifestyle, and Afrobeats to showcase insurance as a tool for safeguarding aspirations, businesses, and everyday living.
The conference is scheduled to take place in Lagos, with participants expected from across the insurance, fintech, and technology ecosystems.
