Sanlam Nigeria rewards top performers, gives back to society

Sanlam Life Insurance Nigeria Limited has honoured its top performers at the 2023 Retail Annual Competition (TRAC) and MD/CEO EMBER awards ceremony.

Formerly known as the FBN Insurance Limited, the insurer said the event held in Benin City, Edo State aimed at recognising exceptional sales achievements within the retail team.

The ceremony marked the 11th edition this year, reaffirming its tradition of celebrating excellence.

The title of overall best agent in Nigeria was clinched by Stanley Obuh, a financial advisor based in Benin, while the Benin Area team won the prestigious EMBER awards trophy.

Lauding the Sales Champions, Tunde Mimiko, the Managing Director/CEO of Sanlam Life Insurance Nigeria Limited, commended the team’s unwavering commitment and dedication in advancing the company’s mission of fostering financial security and prosperity among generations.

The Managing Director/CEO praised the team for their pivotal role in positioning Sanlam Nigeria as a leader in the retail sector and reiterated the company’s commitment to rewarding their resilience and determination, particularly during challenging times.

Stanley Obuh while expressing gratitude for receiving the top honour, attributed the success to the support of his colleagues and family, pledging to maintain excellence in the years ahead.

Sanlam Nigeria, prior to the award, and as part of efforts to strengthen engagement with customers, organised a Customer Engagement Forum, which preceded the TRAC award ceremony.

The event presented attendees ample opportunity to interact with the company’s leadership across various departments, receiving comprehensive responses to their inquiries.

Dr. Lucy Eriba, a loyal customer, lauded Sanlam Nigeria for its continuous dedication and personalised approach, expressing satisfaction with the brand’s services.

The highlight of the Customer Engagement Forum was the presentation of gifts to a school for the visually impaired through the Edo State Chapter of the Nigerian Blind Association.

Chairman of the Association, Evang Lucky Imafidon,  appreciated Sanlam Nigeria for its thoughtful gesture, emphasising the importance of corporate support for the communities in need.

Bankole Banjo, Senior Marketing Services Coordinator at Sanlam Nigeria, emphasised the company’s core value of care as the driving force behind its social initiatives, underscoring the commitment to making a meaningful difference in the society.
