RMAFC’s new Chairman pledges to execute Commission’s mandate

The Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC), new Chairman, Mohammed Bello Shehu, has pledged readiness to execute the Commission’s mandate, especially, monitoring and disbursement of revenue accruals into the Federation account.

Shehu, who was recently sworn in by President Muhammadu Buhari stated this when he assumed office in Abuja for an initial five years tenure.

He expressed gratitude to President Buhari for finding him worthy of being given the opportunity to serve the nation as RMAFC’s Chairman while stating his readiness to also advise the Federal, State and Local government areas in the country on fiscal efficiency and methods by which their revenue generation can be increased.

Shehu further expressed his willingness to work harmoniously with the members, management and staff of the Commission in order to achieve its set goals, which he said would require full commitment and dedication to duty from all the critical stakeholders in the Commission which includes both Management and Staff with a view to achieving the desired result.

The new Chairman of RMAFC, who was until his appointment, the secretary to the Commission, took over from Engr Elias Mbam who recently resigned his appointment.
