Rivers assembly screens 20 LG caretaker committee chairmen

RIVERS State House of Assembly has charged local government caretaker committee nominees to collaborate with traditional rulers to tackle security and sanitation challenges in the councils.

Speaker of the assembly, Honourable Daboturudima Adams, gave the charge during the screening of 20 nominees in Port Harcourt, on Thursday.

He expressed satisfaction in the confidence of some of the nominees during screening and enjoined them to work with the traditional rulers to achieve positive results.
