The president, Nigerian Movement for Positive Change (NMPC), Mr Niyi Aborisade, has declared that Nigeria would continue to move round most of its problems confronting it as a country until it embarked on restructuring.
Aborisade, who urged politicians, professionals, scholars, students as well as journalists to come out of their old shelf and embrace restructuring for Nigeria to move forward, made this known while speaking with Nigerian Tribune, in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, on Wednesday.
He said that the problems confronting the country can only be solved through restructuring and urged journalists to play critical role on it so as to move the nation forward.
“The First Republican politicians operated a structured administration which served as the bedrock of the development the country witnessed during the period.”
“Restructuring is the best. It is not for any individual but for all.”
“What is the benefit of having a beautiful hall without people to fill it? Nigeria is a good place to live, but it lacks the prerequisite of hosting people in comfort. Restructuring is the only solution.”
“We cannot afford to allow the ego of our past mistakes to ruin us from attaining our goals. This country once had indices of greatness. It is still there.”
He called on Nigerians to support and ensure that the current generation achieve that feat to save future generation of Nigerians.
