Reps appoint Isiaka Ibrahim as new deputy chief whip

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rep. Tajudeen Abbas, on Tuesday, at the resumption of the plenary session, announced the appointment of the member representing Ifo/Ewekoro Federal Constituency of Ogun State, Hon. Isiaka Ayokunle Ibrahim (APC), as the new Deputy Chief Whip of the House.

Rep. Ibrahim replaces the late Rep. Adewunmi Oriyomi Onanuga of Ikenne, Sagamu, and Remo North Federal Constituency of Ogun State, who passed away on January 15 this year.

The Speaker wished the new Deputy Chief Whip, a ranking member of the House, a successful tenure.
