Lekki Concession Company Limited (LCC) has commended all stakeholders, the motorists and the general public for a peaceful first day of recommencement of toll operations and equipment testing at the Ikoyi- Link Bridge Toll Plaza, assuring them of its commitment to providing better services as full operations commenced at the plaza, in the coming days.
LCC on Friday, April 1, 2022, reopened, for testing of the tolling equipment, the Ikoyi- Link Bridge Plaza, which was shut during the #EndSARS protest that rocked the state, leading to loss of lives and properties worth billions of naira.
Managing Director of the company, Yomi Omomuwasan, said this in a release made available to newsmen, even as he appreciated LCC’s esteemed customers for their continuous visit to the company’s offices to register their vehicles, modify, and top up their toll accounts in preparation for the cashless toll collection at the plaza.
Omomuwasan told motorists that the result of the equipment testing had so far been satisfactory, and would continue for the next few days, assuring that LCC was poised to providing better services as it returned to full operations soon.
“We are pleased to inform motorists that the result of the equipment testing has so far been satisfactory, even as this continues for the next few days.
“Once again, we assure motorists and stakeholders of our commitment to providing better services as we return to full operations in the coming days,” he said.
