The Nigeria president, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has revealed his administration scorecard for June.

This was posted on the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Media Centre ‘X’ account on Tuesday, 2nd July 2024.

Highlighting President Tinubu’s progress towards the fulfilment of his Renewed Hope Agenda; here are list of June progress:

Approved 21 billion Naira for eleven electricity Distribution Companies (DisCos) to provide meters for end-use customers at no cost.

Approved immediate rollout of National Construction and Household Support Program.

Approved the disbursement of N10bn to 36 states and the FCT for the procurement of

CNG buses to ameliorate transportation costs across the country. Inaugurated major gas infrastructural projects in Delta and Imo states with the aim of boosting Nigeria’s gas production capacity.

Received the first commercially traded Nigerian Gold Bars which added $5m to Nigeria’s foreign reserve assets.

Established Office of the Special Presidential Envoy on Climate Action (SPEC) to enhance Nigeria’s effort in climate action and green economy initiatives.

Approved $1.4million for arms procurement for NDLEA’s counter-narcotics operations in Nigeria.

Announced the implementation of civil service reforms in the Federal Capital Territory.

Approved establishment of ICT hub in Ekiti.

Secured a $3.5bn deal with Afreximbank in a significant boost to the textile industry and development of CNG a vehicles in the country.

Approved disbursement of N35bn for the first phase of the Students Loan Scheme with 70,000 successful applicants ready to receive their loans.

Met with state governors on Food Security with a mandate to revert to him in 7 days over what is needed for each of them to succeed in their states as he is ready to fully support them.

Approved N150bn for immediate purchase of foods to be distributed in a bid to tackle food inflation and scarcity.
