Governor Ahmed Aliyu of Sokoto State has urged APC members in the state to exercise more patience, saying that government business is a gradual process.

He was speaking while answering questions from journalists shortly after swearing in the members of the Judicial Commission of Inquiry.

“I’m not unaware of your grievances, but we have to be a bit more patient.

“I have heard all your complaints regarding postings and transfer of civil servants; we need to exercise more patience and follow things step by step,” he appealed.

The Governor assured the people of the state of prudent management of all resources and implored them to support the government to achieve its set objectives.

“We are on oath, so we will make sure that government resources are judiciously used in the overall development of the state,” he vowed.

Dr Aliyu further reiterated his determination to translate his 9-point agenda into reality for the development of the state.

He also assured the people of the state of his administration’s commitment towards meeting their basic social needs.

The Governor appealed for support from the well-meaning people of the state in order to achieve the set targets.

The Governor further solicited sustained fervent prayers from the people of the state as the only plausible panacea to the myriad of challenges facing the state and the country in general.

He also said that his administration would continue to bask in the tremendous support and unending goodwill of the people of the state.

According to him, such a motivational tempo will continue to spur the state government to do everything humanly possible to take the state to greater heights.
