Popular Ibadan-based twin gospel singer, Taiwo and Kehinde Adegbodu, who just released a new album entitled, Mojere, have revealed that their relocation to Lagos had no link to any form of threat, but to expand their music career, as well as for greener pastures.
Kehinde Adegbodu revealed this to R, during a media parley in Lagos towards a music concert organised by the Adegbodu Twins and Segun Daramola otherwise known as Ajidara tagged Sacrament of Praise Festival billed to hold on July 30.
He said, “My twin brother and I have decided to move to the Lagos metropolis. We feel we need to change our environment and expand our fan-base. It is not because we have another studio in Lagos aside the one in Ibadan. We have not left Ibadan outright; we still have our properties there and our presence is also being felt in Ibadan. However, we get more works in Lagos.”
He added that the ‘all white’ music concert, which is supported by FKS Music Records and holds at the Rock Event Centre, Egbeda, Lagos State, would be their first concert planned to launch their presence in the city.
According to the co-organiser of the concert, Ajidara, the event is set to showcase the right ways of praising God and returning undiluted praises to Him, just as he hinted that popular gospel artistes, including Bukola Akinade, (a.k.a) Senwele Jesu, Lanre Teriba, Mike Abdul, Esther Igbekele, Rotimi Daniel Kenery, Bisi Alawiye, Dare Melody, Mega 99, will perform at the event.
The occasion, which will be graced by dignitaries from the vineyard and other walks of life, will witness ministration from Prophet Obafemi James Akinade.
