It attracted a diverse audience, including industry leaders, stakeholders, university lecturers and students, panellists, Corps members, youth-led organisations and aspiring professionals, to explore ways to nurture the next generation of real estate leaders in Africa.

The event showcased a lineup of accomplished panellists such as Aliyu Aliyu, Abdulmalik Mahdu, Engr Ismail Zubair, Blder Tasiu Mohammed Kampala, Dr Abdulahi Gambo, Engr Dr Aishatu Aliyu Umar and other key stakeholders, who provided valuable insights into the real estate industry.

Discussions highlighted strategies to achieve urban development, create jobs, attract foreign investments, and make a lasting social impact.

The Managing Director of Mcdream Concepts and convener of Beyond The Screen conference through his initiative, Engr (Dr) Aliyu Yunusa during his presentation, emphasised the need to develop young minds on professionalism, entrepreneurship and leadership skills to ensure the economic sustainability of the industry.

Another standout moment of the conference was a panel discussion on challenges and opportunities for women in the real estate industry by key women panellists excelling in the industry.

The panel encouraged young women to overcome stereotypes and pursue leadership roles in their various organisations.

Conference organising coordinator, Tijani Isyaka, highlighted the event’s potential to drive change, stating that it aimed to increase skills and knowledge among young professionals, expand networking opportunities, and foster innovation and entrepreneurship.

The conference’s expected outcomes include enhanced gender equality, improved job prospects, and a positive impact on Africa’s economic and social development. Addressing these priorities, Beyond The Screen aims to cultivate a new wave of professionals equipped to drive the continent’s progress.
