Emi, put yourself in the first guy’s wife’s shoe. If you were to be his wife, would you be happy someone else  should come to ruin or share your husband with you? Thinking about marrying the first guy is totally out of it as long as he is married. So you  had better let him go and go for the second guy. David Gambari <[email protected]>

Emi, you should never go for the first man, you should heed all warnings and avoid deceit. 08026651110.

Emi, you cannot define love. The first guy had a lady but he hid her and denied you before others. If you are the ‘church type’ then get serious about religion and let God choose for you

You should also face your training and keep yourself away from those who will use and dump you. I wish you success in your career and marriage, Debra Amoo,Alakia, Ibadan, 08055631749.

Emi, choose the first guy, 08132586732.

Emi, from your explanation, I want to believe that the first guy does not love you because if he does, he will not be afraid to tell his people what you really are to him. My advice for you is to go for the second option because if you marry the first guy, you will regret your action later, Caroline, 08101705373.

Emi, it appears you are not even sure of what you want and a clearer picture of the future you are envisaging. Why do you want to be a spare tyre to a man who has a child already? Please, don’t be fooled! A broken relationship is better that a broken union. Nkiru, Lagos.

Emi, why are you so much in a hurry to settle down? Age is still on your side. Live a day at a time. Aishat, internet.

Emi, I will advise you to stop wasting your time and energy on a man who is not sure of his choice. The first guy who has promised you heaven on earth should not to be taken for his words because he is not a stable man. Yeye, Lagos.

Emi, the issue at hand needs caution and must be handled with care. You have been shown the way to go, but only that you have decided to look elsewhere. According to your story, this guy already has a child from his wife or lover whom he had met before you and he is claiming that he prefers you to the mother of his son. This is a trap you must not fall into.

He is a liar and will do anything to hoodwink you to do his bidding. Why are you being carried away by the promise of getting you an apartment after completing your apprenticeship? Are you so indigent that you cannot afford to sort your accommodation issue if there is any?

Your claim of being a jealous type does not arise at this age and time. Why do you want to go into a union that has developed ‘K’ leg right from outset? For the first guy to tell you that he prefers you to the mother of his son should be taken with a pinch of salt. It is a white lie. This same chorus of his will be told another lady after he might had succeeded in using you as he did to the mother of his son.

Have you ever asked yourself why he has found it difficult to introduce you to his family? This further suggests to you that he should not be taken for his words. He has no serious plans for you while his confession of loving you is nothing but a fluke! Falling for his antics might be disastrous.

Falling for his bidding might amount to sacrificing your future for an unstable man. You had better put on your thinking cap and let the sleeping dog lie. Your decision to meet his wife at her shop was borne out of immaturity. What if she had embarrassed you on that fateful day? Never in your life do such a thing. There is nothing that you will tell such people that will hold any water.

I cannot even understand why you are so much in a haste to get a partner. You have been fortunate to have another guy who you claimed to be in love with. I hope he is not committed to another lady. You need to shine your eyes before you become a pawn on a chessboard.

Get serious with the second guy if having a lover is your priority now. You should equally pray for God’s guidance while making a choice, [email protected].
