Jigawa State Government has joined other northern states in closing all schools, allowing children to go home to continue observing the Ramadan fast.
Reports from the state indicate that both day and boarding schools have gone on vacation until the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
Tribune Online gathered that the school closures follows completion of second-term examinations in both primary and secondary schools.
