The Abia National Assembly Liaison Officer Chief, Iheanyi Frank Chinasa, has said that the proposed Abia Airport will boost trade and commerce as well. as stimulate economic growth and development both within and outside the state
In a statement issued in Owerri on Thursday, Chinasa congratulated Governor Akex Otti and President Bola Tinubu on the historic ground-breaking ceremony for the proposed Abia Airport project. Located in Nsulu, Isiala Ngwa North Local Government Area
He said that the landmark project marks a significant milestone in the development of Abia dear state and the entire South East region.
He said that Abia Airport is poised to revolutionise the ease of doing business in our commerce-loving state, bringing numerous benefits to our people, including job creation, improved infrastructure, and enhanced economic opportunities.
Chinasa commended the collaborative efforts between the Federal Government and the New Abia administration under Governor Alex Otti, which, according to him, have synergised to develop our state
He also commendation the solid support given by the Distinguished and Honourable members of the National Assembly from Abia state
The Liaison Office observed that the buy-in and cooperation of the people of Nsulu in particular and the entire state as a whole have been invaluable in making this project a reality.
He said, “As we celebrate this achievement, we eagerly anticipate the immense benefits that this project will bring to our state and region. I have no doubt that this airport will become a hub for economic activity and a symbol of our state’s progress and development.”
While congratulating the people and government of Abia State on this remarkable achievement, the liaison officer expressed optimism that the project will bring prosperity and growth to Abia State and the entire South East region.
