IN an era where data-driven decision-making is revolutionizing industries, Precious Okeke stands out as a trailblazer, seamlessly blending financial expertise, business analytics, and automation to drive operational efficiency and strategic growth. With a strong foundation in accounting and advanced analytics, Okeke has built a distinguished career in finance, leveraging AI, machine learning, and process automation to optimize financial operations. Now, she is setting her sights on a new challenge—transforming the healthcare industry through data analytics and AI-driven financial strategies.

Okeke’s career began with a deep-rooted passion for finance and data analysis, cultivated during her undergraduate studies at Northwestern Oklahoma State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. Her academic excellence earned her numerous honors, including induction into the prestigious Delta Mu Delta Honor Society, scholarships, and multiple placements on the Dean’s List.

Recognizing the growing influence of data analytics in financial decision-making, Okeke pursued a Master of Science in Business Analytics with an Accounting concentration at The University of Texas at Dallas (UT Dallas). During her graduate studies, she mastered AI-driven financial modeling, predictive analytics, and process automation, equipping her with the technical expertise to tackle complex financial challenges in a rapidly evolving business landscape.

With experience spanning corporate finance, accounting, and nonprofit financial management, Okeke has made significant contributions to financial strategy and operational efficiency. As Accounting Manager at Dorado Trade Group, she played a pivotal role in forecasting cash flows, conducting variance analysis, and implementing performance-driven KPIs that enhanced decision-making for senior management. Her ability to identify inefficiencies led to the automation of financial processes, reducing month-end closing time by 20% and improving AR collections by 15%.

Before her role at Dorado Trade Group, Okeke worked as a Staff Accountant and Accounting Associate, gaining valuable experience in reconciliations, financial reporting, and month-end closings. Her dedication to improving processes was evident when she redesigned the petty cash process, reducing errors by 97% through automation and process redesign. Her ability to identify inefficiencies and implement solutions early in her career set her apart as a forward-thinking professional.

Beyond her technical skills, Okeke’s leadership and organizational abilities have played a significant role in her success. She served as Secretary of the Delta Mu Delta Mu Xi Chapter, where she demonstrated her ability to coordinate teams and initiatives effectively.

Additionally, her involvement in the African Student Union at UT Dallas reflects her commitment to fostering community and cultural understanding.

Her expertise in predictive analytics was further demonstrated at UT Dallas, where she developed a 98% accurate forecasting model using SAS to analyze consumer spending patterns, showcasing her ability to turn raw data into valuable insights. She also leveraged UiPath to automate business processes, achieving a 90% increase in efficiency. By monitoring and maintaining these automated systems, she ensured their reliability while documenting processes to support scalability and adherence to best practices. Her work not only streamlined operations but is also a testament to her ability to integrate cutting-edge technology into financial operations. These projects demonstrated her technical expertise in tools like R, Power BI, SQL, and MySQL, as well as her ability to apply these skills to optimize business outcomes.

While Okeke has excelled in finance and business analytics, her vision extends beyond traditional financial sectors. She is now focused on applying AI models and data analytics to streamline financial processes in the healthcare industry.

Her decision to transition into healthcare is driven by a recognition that financial inefficiencies, compliance challenges, and resource allocation issues significantly impact healthcare organizations. By leveraging AI-powered forecasting models, financial risk analysis, and process automation, she aims to enhance operational efficiencies, ensure data compliance, and improve healthcare financial management.

Okeke is particularly interested in healthcare supply chain optimization, predictive financial modeling, and AI-driven fraud detection, areas where her expertise in data analytics, financial reporting, and automation can drive substantial improvements.

Currently serving as Finance Coordinator at Children Striving Together, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering underserved youth, Okeke continues to demonstrate how financial strategy and data analytics can drive mission success. She oversees financial records and planning, grant management, and data-driven fundraising strategies, ensuring that resources are efficiently allocated to maximize community impact while adhering to non-profit regulations.
