This formed part of the submission at the 28th diocesan women’s conference of the Diocese of Yewa, Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion), which held from July 19 to July 22 , 2018. at Reverend Fry Memorial Church, Isaga-Orile, Ogun State, with the theme: A Land Flowing with Milk and Honey.
A total of 957 women, alongside more than 40 members of the clergy attended the conference, which also featured Holy Communion service, Bible study, lectures, seminar, Bible quiz, among other activities.

In a statement by the President, Women and Girls’ Organisation of Yewa Anglican Diocese, Mrs Grace Oluwarohunbi, and the communiqué group, which comprised of Mrs Fatima Adewole; Mrs Godswill Otufowora, and Mrs Helen Odukoya, the women urged the Federal Government to step up efforts to ensure Leah’s release.
Resource persons and other dignitaries who attended the conference included: retired Bishop of Ile-Oluji and his wife, Bishop and Mrs S.A. Adekunle; Oba Joseph Oladele Tella and his wife, Mrs Aina Tella; wife of the Rector of Crowther Graduate Theological Seminary, Abeokuta, Mrs Elizabeth Igenoza; Venerable Sola Ladipo Ajayi (host archdeacon); Ven. Abraham Ibikunle (women chaplain); Ven. Emmanuel Adetayo Adegbuyi (Bible study leader); Mrs Grace Adekoya and Dr (Mrs) Bimbola Oludipe as guest speakers.
