The Chief Security Officer (CSO) of Alesa Kingdom in Rivers State and a loader for the Nigerian Petroleum Storage Company (NPSC), Dibia Isaiah, has dismissed reports claiming that the Port Harcourt Refinery is not producing.
While speaking from the refinery site on Sunday, Isaiah refuted claims of inactivity, asserting that production activities are visible and ongoing.
Highlighting his personal involvement in the refinery’s operations, Isaiah, who revealed that he loaded four trucks on Sunday, confirmed the consistent output of petroleum products.
He accused detractors of spreading false information to undermine the refinery’s management and tarnish the image of those working hard to ensure production.

Isaiah, however, called on Nigerians to disregard rumours of non-production at the Port Harcourt Refinery, emphasising that both the host community and the broader nation are pleased with the facility’s performance.
He said, “Everybody is seeing it live and direct that production is on. So, the young man that came, I believe he is an enemy of this rehab that is going on. But, by the special grace of God, we will conquer those enemies.
“Those who don’t want this production to take place, I believe they are all paid. You can witness what is going on here. I am one of the loaders from the host community. I loaded 4 trucks this morning. Yesterday, the refinery gave us a product. So now, we are loading. Tomorrow, we will load.
“There is no time. This time is very busy. I wonder why they are giving us fake information just to run down the management. It is not good. All of us have to come together and rejoice over what has taken place.
“I want Nigerians to forget about the rumour they are hearing that Port Harcourt Refinery is not producing. They are producing. The Rivers people are happy. Nigerians are happy.”
