Police refutes killing of one , abduction of three in Abuja

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police have refuted the story circulating that gunmen raided houses in Faba village of Bwari area council in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) in the early hours of Wednesday, killing one person and abducting three others.

A resident, speaking to newsmen under the condition of anonymity, stated that the victim’s corpse had been moved to his village for burial.

The community is gripped with fear, with residents seen discussing the incident in groups.

It has been gathered that the village, situated not far from Tokulo, the hometown of the council’s Chairman, John Gabaya, is surrounded by some villages, including Zuma, which kidnappers previously attacked.

However, the FCT Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, refuted the incident, stating to Nigerian Tribune, “This isn’t true pls, Except kaduna not FCT.”
