Parading the two suspects among six others before newsmen in Ilorin, on Wednesday, the state Commissioner of Police, Olusola Amore, said they were found with a bag containing human head among other items such as a cutlass.
The police boss, said further interrogation revealed that the suspects had taken the head to an Alhaji (names withheld) to buy it, adding that the said Alhaji refused, but later raised the alarm.
“A search in the bush led to recovery of a headless body who had been declared missing earlier, and which the suspects confessed to have killed,” he said.
The state police command also paraded a Fulani man for allegedly killing his 65-year-old mother and wife of his elder brother, at Mamba Fulani camp in Patigi, Patigi Local Government Area of the state.

The commissioner, who later inaugurated eminent persons forum to fight crime in the state, said security was not a business of police alone but that of all stakeholders.
“That is why the first time I came to the state, I said that my style of policing is community-oriented police. That members of the community would be involved in the way they are policed, and it is for this reason that I asked all the District Police Officers and I to write their numbers in all the police stations and the police headquarters for the purpose of crime prevention and control,” he said.
