Operation Puff Adder in collaboration with other detectives attached to Uli Police Division have arrested a notorious armed robbery suspect one Kingsley Eze aged twenty-four years of Egbouma village in Imo State.
A release signed by the Anambra State Police Public Relation Officer, SP Haruna Muhammed said that the suspect who is also a member of Vikings Confraternity secret cult went to Blessed Lodge at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University off-campus ULI, brandishing a locally made pistol loaded with a live cartridge but was arrested while trying to rob a student at the hostel.

Meanwhile, the statement said one Chris Okafor of Agbani village Ifite, reported at Ozubulu Police Station that a female Facebook friend lured him to Ihembosi and on arrival, the supposed friend directed a motorcyclist who picked and took him to the bush where he was robbed by five boys including the motorcyclist of his money, totaling Seven thousand Naira, his handset and other valuables after beating him with a stick.
It stated that following the report, Police detectives attached to Ozubulu Division in conjunction with vigilante group cordoned off the Area and arrested the following suspects, Agbinelu Ikechukwu Stephen aged twenty- eight years from Ububa village Nkpor Sontochukwu Odita, aged twenty years from Ububa village Nkpor and, Chukwuemeka Ifechuckwu aged twenty- one years from Uhualor village Ihembosi.
The statement said all the suspects have confessed and that the complainant handset was recovered in their possession as exhibit while the case is under investigation and effort is ongoing to apprehend other fleeing accomplices in order to bring them to Justice.
