• Forum condemns killing, clash
Meanwhile, Doko Progressive Forum (DPF) has condemned the incident in stronger terms, adding that it was not only unimaginable but persistently worrisome.
It stated this over the weekend in a press statement issued by the Publicity Secretary of the Organization, Muhammad Idris Kolo, and made available to the newsmen on Sunday in Minna, saying that “Doko Progressive Forum (DPF) condemned the act and any kind of assault on person(s) by any individual or group.”
The statement added that the “forum wishes to reiterate that the ungodly act is never part of us and it is rejected in its entirety, as that is capable of disrupting the little scarce peace the forum has been working tirelessly to restore in the community.”
The forum therefore called on the appropriate/concerned authorities to investigate the incidence and ensures that the law takes its cause.
