The Police arrested a gang leader of a kidnap syndicate suspected who was for long on the wanted police list in Jigawa State.
This was contained in a press statement issued, signed and made available to the Nigerian Tribune in Dutse by the ‎Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) Jigawa state command, SP Abdul Jinjiri, said: “the suspect was in the police wanted list early last year.”
According to the statement “the suspect was a gang leader of a criminal syndicate terrorizing some villages in Gwaram local government and neighboring villages in Bauchi state and now he is finally arrested following the police intensified effort.”
‎Jinjiri further revealed that Buba has been declared wanted after he was alleged conspired with eight others and kidnapped two persons in Kafin Madaki of Gwaram local Government of the state.
“The suspect had after collecting the N3 million as ransoms killed the captives  ‎and run into hiding.”
“The suspected kidnapper held from Bauchi State and is charged with criminal conspiracy, kidnapping, and culpable homicide.”
The PPRO added that the suspect ‎is currently under investigation and upon completing the investigation the police will charge him to court.
SP Jinjiri also reiterated the determination of the police command to get Jigawa rid of kidnappers and other criminals for safety, peace, and progress of the state.
