THE Jigawa State Police Command has arrested a 55-year-old man, Musa Muhammed, who allegedly defiled a 10-year-old minor.
This was disclosed by the state’s police commissioner, Mr Rasheed Akintunde while speaking to Metro on the command’s achievements in March in Dutse, on Monday.
The CP said the rapist lured the young girl into his room and forcefully had carnal knowledge of her.
The police boss explained that “in the process, the girl sustained injuries in her private part, which made her to shout during the act.
“The people around, who were attracted by the noise, rescued her and apprehended the suspect before handing him over to the police.”
He also stated that the police arrested two persons, Sunday Lawrence (26) and Shu’aibu Abdullahi (27), and confiscated substance suspected to be Indian-hemp valued at about N4.6 million.
